Application Guidelines

Who Can Apply?
To be eligible, students must meet all of the following criteria:
Be committed to pursuing a professional and/or academic career in a field in which minorities, i.e. African-American, Hispanic American, Native American, Asian-American, West-Indian, LGBTQ, and/or Jewish, and women are underrepresented.  
Be classified as a Junior, or graduating Senior, currently enrolled full-time at a four-year accredited institution of higher education in the United States, pursuing a bachelor's during the 2013-2014 academic year; or currently enrolled full-time in a professional, e.g. MBA, or graduate program, e.g. Ph.D.
Meet the following requirements:

  • Have a college grade-point average of at least a 3.5 or the letter-grade equivalent.
  • Be pursuing full-time study during the 2013-2014 academic year.
  • Be a U.S. citizen, U.S. national, or U.S. permanent resident.


Preferences will be afforded to the following students:

  • Students in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM).
  • Students who are first-generation college students.
  • Students pursuing advanced graduate or professional degrees.
  • Students matriculating at an HBCU institution.
